I think if you run the SD Diagnostics option within the Mazda Toolbox Settings area you should get some more details about the map licence. For some reason, despite the file size being only 7.5 GB (for the European maps anyway) which even on my relatively standard download connection should take less than a minute, it in fact took around an hour iirc !!! Other UK owners have reported a similar experience. I can't remember if the software prompts you to make a backup.īe prepared for a possible long download process once you carry out the update action.
